Citi Bank In Brookfield Robbed
The FBI has confirmed a robbery at the Citi Bank on Ogden Avenue in Brookfield.
BROOKFIELD, IL — The FBI has responded to a bank robbery at the Citi Bank in Brookfield. Federal officials confirmed the response to the bank at 9009 Ogden Ave. Tuesday morning in an email.
The robber is said to have made threats and displayed a weapon before leaving the bank on foot and heading westbound on Ogden Avenue. It was not immediately known how much cash, if any, the robber left with.
A description of the robber indicates he's a black man in his 20's or 30's, about 6'0" to 6'2". An image was not immediately available.

The FBI responded to a second bank robbery in the Chicago suburbs Tuesday morning as well. The robbery at the Bank of America at 16301 Harlem Ave. in Tinley Park is considered unrelated.
