Archie Bea Allen

Archie B. Allen, 83, of Wrightsville, AR departed this life April 22, 2011 at St. Vincent MICU Unit to go home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born April 30, 1927 in Reydell, AR to Harrison Williams and Idella Green-Williams. She worked for Mack and Donna McLarty for 35 years. She loved cooking Sunday and holiday meals for her family, which she did up to her last holiday. With her giving heart and loving spirit she was a matriarch to her family and a wonderful friend to all she met. She is preceded in death by her parents: Harrison and Idella Williams; one son, Terry Allen; one grandson, Curtis Lamar Smith; and seven brothers. Survived to cherish her loving memory is her husband of 54 years, Elijah Allen Sr.; one son, Elijah Allen Jr. of Little Rock; seven daughters, Linda F. Fulton (David), Patricia Alexander (Levester), Angela Owens (Sam) her special caregiver, Pamela Lewis (Danny) of Little Rock and Judy Hardy (Patrick) of Rosenberg, Texas; two brothers, Lloyd Williams and Willie L. Williams; two sisters, Juanita Hall and Bobbie Jones, all of Little Rock; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. The family would like to thank the nurses for their dedicated care at St. Vincent's MICU during the last days of her illness. Family hour will be held Friday April, 29, 6-7 p.m. at Virginia Baptist Church, Wrightsville. Funeral Service will be held Saturday April 30, 11 a.m. at Antioch FGBC, 3824 Antioch Blvd., College Station, Bishop Kenneth L. Robinson, Sr., Eulogist.
