Asheville Wine & Food Festival happening in downtown Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Wine & Food Festival takes over Pack Square Park this weekend.

It started Friday afternoon and will pick up again tomorrow, when it runs 1-5 p.m.

The festival features wineries from across the state and the region, and dozens of vendors will showcase delicious food and beverages. There's something for everyone, even if you're not into wine.

"I'm more of the spirits and the foods, maybe whiskeys and vodkas and food, not much of wine person believe it or not," Mike Murphy, of Florida, said with a laugh.
