Neal Brown and the new West Virginia coaching staff got two commitments over the weekend. One of the has already announced his commitment (wide receiver Devell Washington) and the other, defensive lineman Aaron Lewis, just announced his commitment. The Williamstown, N.J. star was in Morgantown over the weekend and decided he wanted to be a Mountaineer. Lewis went in-depth on his decision below.

IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"When I went to West Virginia each time it got better and better," Lewis said. "I was going to other schools and seeing games but I just didn't feel the same. When I was at West Virginia I felt the love of all the fans there. I had people coming up to me at West Virginia asking me if I was going to come there. I felt the love there and I felt a part of them. That played a big part in my decision.

"I love coach Lesley," he said. "I feel like he knows when he's doing and is going to be a great coach there. With coach Brown there, they all know what they're doing. I was watching during the spring game and everybody was talking and doing something. The coaching staff was very active. There is going to be a big difference between last year and this year with Will Grier leaving but I feel as though this team and this coaching staff is going to take over West Virginia.

"I was talking to coach Lesley and they don't have too much depth on the defensive line," said Lewis. "I'm going to work to start there as a freshman. I think they'll move me around the defensive line just like I do in high school.

"I have a couple guys I'm going to getting down those country roads," he said. "Tarheeb Still really likes West Virginia and so does Chris Mayo and Tirek Austin-Cave. We're all going to take our official visit together. They're all guys that love West Virginia and we just have to sell them with that one visit. That's going to be my job now that I'm committed, recruiter for the team."

RIVALS' REACTION...

West Virginia got themselves a versatile defensive lineman in Lewis. He has no problem playing on the edge or moving inside and getting into the backfield. There is a lot of room left on Lewis' frame to fill out and once his technique gets a little more polished I'd expect him to get a lot of playing time. Lewis does a great job playing with leverage and push the offensive lineman backwards.
