Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr is mulling on returning to Sydney after the recent break in on the mansion she shares with tech billionaire Evan Spiegel in California.

Various outlets reported that Kerr’s Australia homecoming is meant to ensure the safety of her five-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-husband, Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom.

“She’s making plans to move back to Sydney for at least the next few months. It’s the one place she feels comfortable,” the insider was quoted.

Sources said the 33-year-old bride-to-be “no longer feels safe in the house” after a knife-wielding intruder broke into her Malibu home on Oct. 14 and stabbed one of her security guards. Both the intruder and security personnel were rushed to the hospital after the bloody attack.

The Kora Organics owner is set to marry the Snapchat founder and CEO next year after getting engaged on July 20. Kerr and Spiegel met in California in 2014 and eventually became a couple in June 2015.

Named as the world’s youngest billionaire, Spiegel reportedly built a net worth of US$2.1 billion (AU$2.8 billion) after succeeding with tech startup Snap, Inc., which is behind the Snapchat app and the video-recording sunglasses called Spectacles.
