Perez is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates.
Perez has cooled off since his outstanding month of July, but he's still been plenty useful for fantasy purposes with four homers, 10 RBI, eight steals and 14 runs scored this month. This marks his second absence in five games but Perez has shown enough to warrant near-everyday at-bats down the stretch between first base, second, third and right field.
