'Protect Mueller' Rally In Livermore Draws Large Crowd Thursday

People from all over Tri-Valley rallied to #ProtectMueller and his probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

LIVERMORE, CA — Demonstrators in Livermore gathered Thursday night to protest President Donald Trump's replacement of his attorney general after embattled former Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigned on Wednesday. It is was one of hundreds of protests and rallies across the Bay Area and the country.

About 50 people gathered to join the rally, which was organized by Glenn Lopez. The rally started at the Livermore Post Office at 3 p.m. and ended at the flagpole.

Other Bay Area protests included Walnut Creek, San Ramon, San Jose, Santa Clara, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Mateo, San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland, Alameda, Richmond and more. In addition to US protests, demonstrators gathered in Amsterdam, Rome, Toronto and other international locations.
