Rt. 80 Crash Leaves 2 Dead Thursday: Report

Car was carrying three female motorists; driver airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, report says.

A single-car crash claimed the lives of two passengers Thursday afternoon on Route 80 in Warren County.

Three females heading eastbound in the area of mile marker 9.1, just west of exit 12, crashed into a tree in the median around 4:50 p.m., nj.com reported.

The driver was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center and both passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, the report said.

Identities of the women have not yet been released. New Jersey State Police did not immediately respond to Patch’s request for comment.
