Only two days remain to secure tickets for Thursday’s 20th annual Richmond Sports Awards.
Overseen by the Richmond Sports Council and its selection committee, the program recognizes athletic excellence, leadership and contribution in 2017 and beyond.
The categories include: High School Female Athlete, High School Male Athlete, Junior Female Athlete, Junior Male Athlete, Post Secondary Female Athlete, Post Secondary Male Athlete, Adult Female Athlete, Adult Male Athlete, Senior Female Athlete, Male Senior Athlete, Athlete with a Disability, Special Olympic Athlete, Female Youth Team, Male Youth Team, Adult Team, Official, Coach and Administrator.
The winners will be recognized at Thursday’s banquet slated for the McMath Secondary School Rotunda. The doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 or $175 for a table of six.
