Cibrian is playing her first ex-husband, a professional gambler named Jason, while Scrubs star Faison joins as husband number two Kevin, an upbeat and rich environmentalist, reports Deadline.

Rory Scovel (Ground Floor) has been cast as Bridget's third former husband Robert, a pompous college professor.

Cougar Town actor Hopkins joins as Tom, a veterinarian who is a love interest for Bridget.

Faison currently stars in TV Land's The Exes, but will leave the show if NBC picks up Potter's pilot to series.

The untitled project comes from Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer. The pair are executive producers alongside Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman, with Potter as producer.
