Ronald Dean Mueller, 83, of Monona, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society, Postville.
He was born Nov. 2, 1931, to Henry and Margaret (Ziegler) Mueller in Luana, Iowa. He graduated from
Luana High School in 1949. Ronald was united in marriage to Ila Mae Hoth in Elkader on June 13, 1957.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ila Mae; two children, Jeffrey and his wife, Mary Mueller, of La Crosse, Wis., and Steven and his wife, Kathy Mueller, of Elkader; seven grandchildren, Aleecia (Josh) Heindel, Monica (Gabe) Halvorsen, Jenny (Andy) Shulha, Mike (Cameron) Mueller, Jess (Jed) Dean, Greg (Shannon) Mueller and Becky Mueller; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donnabelle and her husband, Herb Hartz, of Cedar Rapids, and Connie and her husband, Gary Lenth, of Atkins; and a brother, Norman, and his wife, Maggie Mueller, of Luana.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roger and Henry Jr. "Sonny" Mueller; and his sister, Marlene Wieser.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home in Monona and one hour before the service Saturday. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, with the Rev. Harold McMillin as officiant. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luana.
