Benjy Bronk, a writer for "The Howard Stern Show", yells at Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) as he announces his resignation June 16, 2011 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. The resignation comes 10 days after the congressman admitted to sending lewd photos of himself on Twitter to multiple women. It was a fitting end to a ridiculous scandal and Howard Stern scribe Benjy Bronk made sure he was going to bring the comedy as Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) announced his resignation on Thursday.
"Senator Weiner! Will you maintain your hot physique and smooth sexy chest?" screamed Bronk amid a throng of TV and print reporters.
It was such a scene that, at times, it was hard to hear the disgraced congressman over nastier shout-outs like "Bye bye, pervert!". Regarding the spectacle of the event, Bronk tweeted, "I asked questions, but I wasnt guy who called Weiner a pervert, I was going for comedy not to make moral judgements."
While the nature of humor is purely subjective, Bronk's comedy came in the form of questions like "Are you more than seven inches!?"
The mainstream press didn't take so kindly to Stern's writer with one reporter yelling, "He's not with us!"
Bronk was hired to the Stern show as an intern in 1998. Interestingly, the Howard Stern Show said they didn't send Bronk to the event since he often takes the initiative for such endeavors. For example, Bronk was also present at the press conference where Congressman Weiner confessed to his unscrupulous Twitter pasttime. Bronkl was the one who yelled, "Were you fully erect!?!" which prompted Weiner to end the event.
