Calling All Dog Lovers: Bark For Life of Rhode Island

Bark For Life brings families and their dogs together to walk honoring the life-long contributions of canine caregivers and cancer survivors

Join us for the inaugural Bark For Life of Rhode Island!

The American Cancer Society would like to announce a new - and fun - opportunity to help finish the fight against cancer. We are seeking participants, vendors, and day of event volunteers for this special event.

The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is an event honoring the life-long contributions of our Canine Caregivers, including our pets and service animals who demonstrate unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors abilities or appearances. Families and their dogs come together and complete a one-mile walk to honor the caregiving qualities of their canine best friends and cancer survivors.

Registration is $20 per dog.

The event schedule will include:

  • 10 am - Registration
  • 10 am - 2 pm - Vendor and Survivor Area
  • 11 am - Opening Ceremony & Walk
  • 12 noon - Entertainment and Activities
  • 1:45 pm - Closing Ceremony

PLEASE NOTE: All dogs will need proof of current rabies vaccination at the event in order to participate.
