Meanwhile, "Big Bang Theory" recently received a huge honor after getting their longtime set, Stage 25, renamed as "The Big Bang Theory Stage." The CBS series is only the fifth show to be given the recognition, with previous recipients being "Friends," E.R.," "Two and a Half Men," and the "Ellen" talk show.

Co-creator Chuck Lorre recently opened up about the recognition of the series, which will wrap up with 279 episodes when Season 12 ends.

"You come to work every day to make a good show. We don't think about getting a plaque, but the plaque is extremely rewarding. It makes the show part of the history of the lot," Lorre told USA Today.

Cuoco, who has played the role of Penny since "Big Bang Theory" first aired in 2007, also talked about how it feels to receive the honor and know that the show's days are numbered. She revealed that she is "losing it" and that filming the final episodes has been "really heartbreaking" for her. She also said that getting the plaque was "really special."

Her co-star, Galecki, who plays her onscreen love interest Leonard, also credited the cast and crew's amazing chemistry for the success of the show. "If there was a recipe for the kind of of chemistry that's here on the stage and in the writers room, every show would last 280-some episodes," he said.
