Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) Executive Director Kevin Dillon was named to the board of directors of a trade association representing airports in the U.S. and Canada.
Dillon will serve on the board of Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), CAA said. The council advocates for policies to strengthen North American airports, promotes best practices and works to support route and capital development for its members.
“ACI-NA is one of the most distinguished airport trade associations in the world, and I am honored to be able to serve on its Board of Directors with such strong leaders from across the country,” Dillon said in a statement. “I believe that I will be able to offer unique insights from having served in positions at airports of all sizes over the past four decades.”
As executive director of CAA, Dillon oversees Bradley International Airport in addition to general aviation airports Danielson, Groton-New London, Hartford-Brainard, Waterbury-Oxford, and Windham.
