Police searching for escaped inmate in Ohio County

Kentucky State Police are investigating an escaped inmate from the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
Police say 44-year-old Jeffery N. Howard of Reynolds Station, KY was in jail for non-violent crimes and was participating in a work release program at Tamerlane Industries.
He left the jail around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and never returned from his shift.
Jeffery is described as a white male, standing 5'10" tall, weighing 175 pounds with brown-gray hair and blue eyes.
