AUSTIN (KXAN) — Next Monday is World Orphans Day and an Austin-based non-profit is launching a campaign to raise awareness for the millions of orphans worldwide.
Caroline Boudreaux with the Miracle Foundation joined us in the studio to discuss the initiative.
The Miracle Foundation works to transform orphanages into homes, train displaced women to become mothers and fund scholarships for education.
In addition to Austin, they support 22 orphanages in rural India, with plans help more by the end of 2016.
