Looking for something a little different for your Valentine this year?

The Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating Valentine's Day with the latest installment of its Espresso chamber concert series on Feb. 16 at the Chapman Cultural Center.

The evening will feature romantic pop and classical music including Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," The Beatles' "All you need is love" and Debussy's "Clair de Lune." You'll also hear the premiere performance of a solo piano work by Peter B. Kay commissioned by Susu Johnson, and Ballet Spartanburg will be among the guest performers.

The happy hour reception starts at 5:30 p.m. with free food and beverages sponsored by Mozza Coffee, Ciclops Cidery and Brewery, the Spartanburg Marriott and Select Restaurant. Limited-edition stemless wine glasses will be available as a keepsake.

The one-hour show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $26 and can be purchased at 864-542-2787 or at the Chapman box office Monday through Friday afternoons.
