6 Times Charlie Harper's 'Words of Wisdom' Were Exactly What We Needed To Hear

Pearls Of Wisdom By Charlie Harper

When it comes to being a Casanova, most of you would name Barney Stinson from 'How I Met Your Mother', while some of you would name Joey Tribbiani from 'Friends'. But there was a man who did it all with barely any effort and knew how to use his strengths.

Charlie Harper from 'Two and a Half Men! The Man, the legend, the myth! We can't completely call it a fictional character, as Charlie Sheen, who played Charlie Harper, was not that different from his on-screen avatar in real life. Perhaps that's why he just nailed the role.

Sex, booze, drugs, and gambling are the character's hobby. In a world which is full of competition, Charlie picked up girls better than the guys in deodorant advertisements. Let's see what we can learn from him:

1. Live Like There's No Tomorrow

If one thing Charlie knew apart from picking up women was how to party. The man drank like a fish and had a life with no regrets. Be it women, pot, cigars, drinks, he did it all with an open heart. But he never let it affect his work. The man knew the importance of money and always managed to make it in abundance. The lesson here is, live like there's no tomorrow but earn like you might live for a hundred years.

2. Use Your Assets Wisely

Women find kids adorable and Charlie certainly knew it. The man used his nephew to pick up women countless times. Be it in a grocery store or convincing him to take belly dancing lessons, just so he could have a date with the instructor, he didn't miss one single chance. If you want to succeed in life, know what your assets are and use them wisely.

3. Relationships

Most of us fall with the idea of being in a relationship, and not with the person. Charlie taught us to wait, have fun, and eventually, you'll know when the right person comes along. It's better to wait than to settle down with the wrong person. Be sure that you want to actually spend the rest of your life with the person you're going to propose. Don't rush into anything.

4. Family Is Everything

No matter how much he made fun of his brother, he always took care of him. He even broke up his engagement for his brother's sake. And the way he was a role model to his nephew, despite his shortcomings, was commendable. Charlie's relationship with his mother wasn't smooth and yet he managed to be there for her, every time she actually needed him. For him, if you look deeply, HIS family came first. Same should be the case with you.

5. Sense of Humour

We are aware of Chandler Bing's sense of humour & sarcasm but if anyone used it correctly to pick up women, it was Charlie. Be it making fun of someone, or making a woman laugh or a cruel comeback to his mother's comments, he was quite the master at it.

Watch the series, you'll definitely pick up some funny pick-up lines.

6. The I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck-Attitude

No matter what happened, Charlie always did what he wanted to do. He was single on his own terms, got engaged on his own terms and broke the engagement on his own terms.

People called him a degenerate man-whore who fell into a pot of money, but he didn't care. He lived the way he wanted to and was never bothered by the fact that what 'people' might say.
