MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG)

8:25 a.m. – Well it was the smooth commute this morning for our first day back to school throughout Mobile County.  No accidents or delays through those school zones and looks like everyone got to where they needed to go.  So it was a good start, hopefully tomorrow that will happen once again. A new accident Airport @ Schillinger Road. Highway Patrol still waiting on a wrecker there Snow Road and Highway 98.  Still problem-free on the Bayway and Causeway and through the tunnels and so far this morning we’ve been accident-free throughout the Panhandle according to Florida Highway Patrol and Pensacola Police.

7:50 a.m. – Updating your Tuesday morning commute as it’s back to school for the kids in Mobile County. Of course careful through those school zones also watch your speed near intersections like Hillcrest and Girby. We do have an accident Snow Road and Highway 98; Highway Patrol’s on the scene and a wrecker is on the way. A new accident North University and University Loop, a hit-and-run crash in that area. Still moving along pretty well on the Bayway and Causeway as traffic volume is pretty busy through the tunnels.  And we’re still accident-free along the Panhandle according to Florida Highway Patrol.

7:25 a.m. – Update your Tuesday morning commute as it is back to school for the kiddos in Mobile. We’ve  got some accidents in Mobile including North University at University Loop (that one involving injuries). A fender bender Cody at Airport, highway patrol headed the scene of an accident Snow Rd at Highway 98. Extra caution to the school zones, keep an eye out for those school buses as well.  Bayway is still moving along pretty well both directions as traffic volume has picked up in the westbound lanes. And still accident-free in the Pensacola area.

6:55 a.m. – As the first day of school continues for those in Mobile it looks like traffic is moving along pretty well through most of the area. Of course extra caution through those school zones as you’d expect also watch out for those school buses. We have a new accident University Boulevard at University Loop. It does involve injuries as Mobile Police and emergency vehicles are on the scene so avoid that intersection. On the Bayway and Causeway and through the tunnels is traffic volume starting to pick up in the westbound Lanes. No trouble spots along the Panhandle of Florida.

6:30 a.m. – Good morning and so far it’s been a good start for back to school in the Mobile area. Looking good right now through those school zones but of course extra caution and keep an eye out for those school buses as well here on this first day back. Moving along well on the Bayway and Causeway right now without any accidents, no trouble spots to let you know about. Alabama Department of Transportation letting us know there’s an abandoned vehicle I-10 westbound near the Duvall Street exit (that’s near Exit 24). It’s off to the side of the road so heads up there but moving along well on the Panhandle without any accidents according to Florida Highway Patrol.

6:05 a.m. –  As the sun makes its Tuesday Morning debut in the Eastern Sky your morning commute looks good. It’s already off to a little bit of a busy start.   Traffic volume is a little bit heavier than it has been as it is back to school for the kiddos in Mobile, so extra caution to those school zones and make sure to keep an eye out for those school buses as well.  But so far this morning both Mobile Police in Alabama Highway Patrol reporting no accidents. Looking good on the Bayway and Causeway and no problems right now through Baldwin County or Pensacola.

5:55 a.m. – We begin your Tuesday morning commute looking well without any problems or delays to begin your morning commute. Looking good throughout Mobile and no problems on the Bayway or Causeway.  Pretty soon those school buses will be back for the first time in a while out and making the rounds on the roadway so use extra caution of course.  First day of school for the kiddos in Mobile beginning today.  Looking good right now along the Panhandle as well no trouble spots according to Pensacola Police or Florida Highway Patrol .

5:30 a.m. – It’s been a smooth commute to start off your Tuesday morning commute. Throughout Mobile we’re running smoothly and of course today it’s back to school day so as your morning progresses make sure to use extra caution to those school zones. Keep an eye out for those school buses as well but so far this morning Mobile Police and Alabama Highway Patrol telling us no issues.  Looking good on the Bayway and Causeway and on the panhandle of Florida everything is running smoothly there as well.

5:06 a.m. – Our first check of traffic here on this early Tuesday reveals things are looking good on the Bayway and Causeway to start off the day. We’re accident and delay free both directions, no issues through either of the tunnels as well. In Mobile both Mobile Police in Alabama Highway Patrol reporting no accidents they’re working right now and on the Panhandle, Florida Highway Patrol reporting no accidents to begin the day as well .
