Landscape Contractor Injured In Tarpon Springs Shooting
A landscape contractor was shot in the 300 block of S. Florida Avenue on Friday
TARPON SPRINGS, FL - A landscape contractor was shot in the 300 block of S. Florida Avenue on Friday, police said. The man, who was not identified, was taken to Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson.
The man was working near a pool on the property at Sunset Shores Association Residential units when he was shot. Police have not determined where the gunman was located when the shots were fired.
Three area schools were placed on a lockout status after the shooting, but the lockout has since been lifted, police said.
