"American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez has been seemingly undecided about her fate on the reality competition show for months, but now it seems the singer has made a decision, AOL Music reports. After two years on the FOX show, J.Lo will likely call it quits. She broke the news on "Today" this morning (July 12).

"It's a huge decision," Lopez said during the interview, "But I have to say there are so many things I do that I put on hold for that. It's a heartbreaking decision if I have to go." The singer-actress is in the middle of a co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias and simultaneously on a promotional tour for her new movie, "Ice Age 3: Continental Drift."

J.Lo first suggested her time with the hit show might be at an end during an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" back in May. She sited other projects and the increasing mobility of her 3-year-old Twins Max and Emme.

"Sounds like you're making up your mind," "Today" host Natalie Morales said. "Little by little I'm making up my mind," Lopez responded. "I love everybody, I love the guys, but I am thinking it's time for me to go and do other things I love to do like films and journeys." While it definitely sounds like she's leaning heavily toward one side, Jennifer closed the discussion on the matter saying, "But I'm torn. It's a tough decision."

Earlier this week, news broke that former "Idol" finalist Adam Lambert was at the top of producers' wishlists of potential new judges for the show.
