ANNAN Athletic boss Peter Murphy says there’s still an “outside chance” they can make the play-offs despite losing their last two games.

Annan lost 2-1 at Montrose on Tuesday and face Clyde tomorrow (3pm), who are just a point behind them with two games in hand.

Annan should have a fully-fit squad to choose from when they host Clyde as defender Steven Swinglehurst played 90 minutes for the Galabankies on Tuesday after recovering from an ankle injury.

Murphy said: “The play-offs are not really realistic but there’s still an outside chance.

“It was a very tight affair at Montrose and very disappointing to go down to two set-pieces from free-kicks which we have been strong on recently.

“Looking forward, you never know what can happen because a lot of the teams around us play each other the next two weeks.”
