Not so unexpected! While fans of Kylie Jenner may have not seen her pregnancy coming, it seems that the ones closest to her had the opposite reaction.
“No one in Kylie’s life was shocked when she got pregnant,” a source close to the 20-year-old lip-kit maven tells Us Weekly.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is part of a big family, with sister Kendall Jenner and eight half-siblings including the Kardashian sisters and their brother Rob and has been surrounded by their kids from a young age. “Everyone knew she always wanted to be a mom and that was one of her goals in life,” the insider adds.
Though the 20-year-old lip-kit maven has yet to make a public announcement about her happy news, the source says she’s staying busy from the comfort of her home — and preparing to welcome her child there. “Kylie has been doing fittings and shoots even though she’s obviously pregnant,” the source says.
Us Weekly confirmed in September that Jenner is expecting her first child with rapper Travis Scott. Since the news broke, she has stayed extremely private. Early this month an insider explained her decision to Us, saying, “She’s very happy about the pregnancy but she doesn’t want to share this with the world.”
“Her not being out is strictly personal preference. She wants to keep this one aspect of her life private.”
Kylie is not the only member of the famous family with a baby on the way. Us broke the news in October that her half-sister Khloé Kardashian and boyfriend Tristan Thompson are expecting a baby boy.
Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West also welcomed their third child — a baby girl — via surrogate on January 15.
