Sunday Night Football thread: Come on, Trubisky

The Bears and the Rams play on Sunday night

The Chicago Bears are on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. The Rams are 7.5 point favorites, with the total at 42.5. Vegas is expecting a 24-17 Rams win. Both defensive lines should have their way with these offensive lines. The Rams, as we know first-hand, can’t seem to block anyone. According to PFF, they’ve given up 20 more hurries than any other team in the league this year. Not to be outdone by Chicago, who is 25th in adjusted sack rate and 27th in adjusted line yards. This could be a sloppy game.

Both of these squads are so hot and cold that it’s tough to predict this one. I’d guess a low scoring game that features two of the top defenses in the NFL per DVOA. Turnovers could change that, of course. Both quarterbacks struggle under pressure, and that alone could lead to points.

Maybe I’m wrong. Perhaps a Jared Goff versus Mitch Trubisky matchup will be entertaining.
