Claudia Jordan launches GoFundMe for recovering Melyssa Ford

Claudia Jordan will do anything to help her ailing friend Melyssa Ford.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alumna recently launched a GoFundMe campaign to help with Ford’s medical expenses following a horrific car crash in late June.

Ford, 41, who appeared in numerous music videos and stared in the Bravo reality series “Blood, Sweat & Heels,” was traveling along a California highway when a 18-wheeler tractor-trailer clipped her SUV causing it to flip three times landing upside down.

The star suffered a fractured skull, a concussion, bleeding on the brain as well as a large 10-inch open wound.

Jordan, 45, hopes to raise $100,000. To date, more than $14,000 has been raised.

“We are asking those closest to her and supporters who have shown an outpour of concern and well wishes to contribute to this GoFundMe established,” Jordan explained. “In a time when the world seems to be spiraling out of control, miracles like this remind us of the one beautiful thing we all have in common and should be thankful for every day, LIFE.”

Jordan reiterated that 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Ford.

An update on Ford’s condition is not known.
