Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle says the controversy surrounding Mohamed Salah's future will be settled by the club's lawyers.

The 23-year-old joined Fiorentina in January on an 18-month loan from Chelsea as part of the deal that saw Juan Cuadrado move to Stamford Bridge.

The winger has the option to return to the Premier League side this summer or remain with the Viola.

However, the Egypt international has since said he does not want to return to Fiorentina and is being linked to Roma and Inter, prompting legal action from the Stadio Artemio Franchi club.

Della Valle says he blames the player's representative for the fiasco, and that the issue will be resolved by the club's lawyers.

"We are saddened, he is a nice guy who is mismanaged by his agent," he said.

"I see that other clubs are going to London to try to get him. We will do the same and we will speak with Chelsea.

"Lawyers will solve this thing. It will be a long story."
