Syracuse-based steakhouse opening at Eastview
Syracuse-based Prime Steakhouse will open its second location this fall in the former Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano at Eastview Mall.
The Victor space is being remodeled right now, according to a statement by Eastview management, and the fine-dining restaurant should be up and running by late September or early October.
Prime launched in Syracuse in 2009 in that city's historic Gridley Building. The Syracuse Prime menu features such appetizers as a Seafood Tower (oysters, shrimp, lobster tail) and lobster avocado brie spring rolls. Chef’s Suggestions include filet mignon and a coffee-rubbed New York strip steak. And lobster macaroni and cheese and Yukon gold garlic mashed potatoes are among the sides.
Biaggi’s closed at Eastview in April after about 15 years in business. It was the Illinois-based restaurant chain’s only location in the Northeast.
