Julian L. Anderson, 92, of Lake Forest, formerly of Arlington Heights, Fox lake and Mt. Prospect.

Julian was a retired executive from International Harvester Company.

He was born in Stanhope, IA, the son of Lewis and Olga Anderson.

He was raised on a farm near Blue Earth, MN, graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1933 and attended Waldorf College in Forest City, IA. During World War II, he served in an I. H. battalion of the U.S. Army.

His entire career was spent at International Harvester, where he held management positions in Iowa and Illinois, as well as in Sweden and Belgium.

He retired in 1976 with more than 40 years of service.

Julian is survived by Ella, his loving wife of 68 years; by his three children, Karen (John) Loberg of Henderson, NV, Judy (John) Willetts of Aurora, OH, and John (Megan) Anderson of Lake Forest, IL; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his five brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lake Forest Place, 1100 Pembridge Drive in Lake Forest on Saturday, August 25, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Waldorf College, 106 S. 6th Street, Forest City, IA 50436, or to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
