Teaneck Businessman J. Fletcher Creamer Named NJ Hall Of Famer
He was chairman of J. Fletcher Creamer & Sons, a national construction firm that redesigned the interchange at routes 4 and 17.
TEANECK, NJ — J. Fletcher Creamer Sr., the longtime owner and chairman of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc., will be inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2019.
Creamer is one of four people who will be posthumously inducted this year.
Creamer was born in Teaneck and lived in Fort Lee.

He served his country in the pacific theater during World War II in the Navy and Fort Lee as a volunteer firefighter, his obituary states.
When he died in March 2012 he was chairman of J. Fletcher Creamer & Son and was affiliations. He was director of the Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce, finance chairman of Bergen County under Gov. Tom Kean, and commissioner of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Creamer was a founding member of the 200 Club of Bergen County and director of D.A.R.E. New Jersey.
J. Fletcher Creamer & Son Inc. was one of three companies that rebuilt the Route 4 and Route 17 interchange in 1998 and 1999.
Creamer was named man of the year by several organizations, including the Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce and won the De La Salle Award from Paramus Catholic High School.
