Sep 21, 2014 11:17 PM EDT | By Staff Reporter

People can discuss the possible Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United transfer all day. However, it won't happen if top officials of the Old Trafford-based club aren't interested or if the current manager don't find him fit for the system he is implementing. Louis Van Gaal, the coach who replaced David Moyes during the summer, is known as someone who won't hesitate to spend the right players for his team. What is his take on the possibility of coaching the Real Madrid star?

"When it is possible, what I said with [Radamel] Falcao, players like Ronaldo give a lot extra to selection or to a team but I don't think Real Madrid shall sell him." Van Gaal said in a press conference.

The Dutch manager is okay with the Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United transfer. However, he also believes that the Portuguese star's current club won't give it a go.

"Yes, but it's always a discussion in the papers, and I don't think the media shall buy Ronaldo."

Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United Transfer has been one of the top topics in England right now after the Real Madrid superstar and two-time Ballon d'Or winner expressed his dreams of returning to Old Trafford.

"I love Manchester and you never know in football. Of course I'm happy at Real Madrid; it's my home, it's my club, but United treated me unbelievably, so you never know," Ronaldo told MUTV before United played Real Madrid during their US tour.

Red Devils fans' hope of having CR7 back in their arms got even bigger when former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon said that Ronaldo is already 'fed up' with his current club. Calderon said that 29-year old player is getting tired of the management's decision to sell their top players.

"When he came with [Arjen] Robben, he thought he would be a good colleague for him in the team. [Gonzalo] Higuaín was sold and he didn't like that. Last year he thought it was a mistake to let [Mesut] Özil leave and the last straw was selling Xabi Alonso and ángel di María this summer."
