TOQUERVILLE, Utah (AP) - Authorities say they have one person in custody in connection with the death of a woman in Toquerville.
Washington County Sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Crouse described the person as a male juvenile, but didn’t offer other details.
Deputies responded a little after midnight Wednesday to reports that a home was burglarized and guns were stolen.
Crouse says a tipster later called in to report seeing a car that had been in the area of the break-in.
Deputies say they ran the license plate and traced it to the home, where they found the woman dead.
Authorities say she was the victim of a homicide, but haven’t described how she may have died and haven’t released her identity.
