Fall Fair
The Saratoga Youth Commission will host a Fall Fair on Saturday, Nov. 18, 3-6 p.m. Families can enjoy a bounce house, crafts, face painting, games, music and food. Entrance to the event is free, and activity tickets are 50 cents each, cash only.
The fair is at El Quito Park, 12855 Paseo Presada.
Gala concert
Saratoga High School is hosting a free gala concert in celebration of its new music building on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. Guest saxophonist Russell Kerns will play in the school’s McAfee Center, and a reception will be held in the music building. Guided tours will be available.

Free ‘Nutcracker’
The Saratoga Senior Center has a limited number of free tickets to the San Francisco Ballet’s “Nutcracker” on Dec. 16. A check or money order of $50 is required to reserve a seat, but it will be refunded on the day of the event.
Group transportation is mandatory and will be free. Dress code is semi-formal. Call 408-868-1254 for questions or to RSVP.
Religions talk
This month’s Living Room Conversations session will be about exploring world religions. On Nov. 28, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Joan Pisani Community Center, the public is invited to learn from the World Peace Village, an initiative led by the Child and Family Research and Training Institute of Menlo Park. The discussion will involve learning about different prayer styles and drawing lines between what all religions have in common.
