CLEVELAND, Ohio - Is it worth it? You bet!

Whatever your go-to is when you're craving a sweet treat -- pie, cake, ice cream sundae or something a bit fancier -- we have you covered with 61 decadent goodies from which to choose.

You have just hours left to make certain that dessert you crave will move into the final round of Cleveland's Best Sinful Dessert contest. Vote in the poll below until Thursday at 9 a.m. To increase suspense, we're hiding the results for the final 24 hours.

We have 61 tasty treats vying for 20 slots - many of which are locked in tight races. So if you love dessert, now is the time to consider the list below and cast your vote for the dessert you believe to be the most decadent.

Important details on the poll:

Votes must come from within the United States. The poll is sorted in alphabetical order by name of dessert. You need to scroll all the way down and click the "Submit" button in order for your vote to be counted.

Once the Top 20 is determined, Cleveland's Best team of Brenda Cain and Yadi Rodriguez, along with celebrity host and comedian Mike Polk Jr., will visit each establishment to find out what inspired their creation and taste each nominated dessert.

Contest details:

The schedule of our 20 visits will publish no later than Monday, Oct. 22 and we want you to come along - either in person, to taste the treats for yourself, or vicariously, by watching Facebook Live videos on cleveland.com's Facebook page.

During the visits we'll also sample your nomination, as well as a few other confections the contestant has whipped up to give you a better idea of their culinary prowess.

New this contest: Cleveland's Best reporters will determine the winner based on their taste tests. But they won't stop there. They will also name a Top 10 and the "Best of the Rest." We'll surprise the winner with an unannounced visit to their establishment on Facebook Live Nov. 13.

Submit your votes, share on social media and spread word about the contest to your dessert-loving friends, customers, and family.
