Tests Confirm White Powder Sent To Karen Handel's Home Was Non-Hazardous: FBI

A week after threatening letters and white powder were sent to the homes of U.S. Rep.-elect Karen Handel, her neighbors and two news stations, the FBI has released the analyses conducted on those items. The final lab results from the Georgia Department of Public Health are in and they have all tested negative for "any known biological threat agent," said FBI Atlanta Field Office Special Agent spokesperson Stephen Emmett.

Garth Brooks To Be First Music Act At Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Country star Garth Brooks will be the inaugural music act at the newly-minted Mercedes-Benz Stadium this fall, the artist announced Thursday. Brooks will play the new Atlanta Falcons stadium on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in a concert that will also feature Trisha Yearwood. The show will offer fans the first glimpse of how the $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium will serve the region as a major music venue with first-class amenities throughout.
