Alexandria Realtor Wins Hero Award

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Alexandria realtor Nora Partlow won the 2018 Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Hero Award on Oct. 9 for her support of a local nonprofit.

The Neighborhood Health of Virginia, the nonprofit that nominated her, received a $1,000 donation from NVAR Cares as part of the award.

Partlow, an affiliated sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office, has volunteered and supported Neighborhood health for 20 years. The nonprofit said Partlow has gotten 250 people to support the organization’s efforts to deliver quality medical care regardless of patients' ability to pay.

"I’m so grateful for this recognition and I look forward to continue serving this wonderful community for many more years," said Partlow.

Partlow is a former business owner-turned real estate agent. She has been providing buyer and seller services in Alexandria since 2007. She was awarded the Key to the City by the Del Ray Business Association and received recognition from city officials for her business and civic impact throughout Del Ray.

"We were very excited to break the wonderful news to Nora about winning the Hero Award, surrounded by peers that understand the dedication it takes to be a successful professional and provide such incredible support to the community," said Rachel Carter, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Alexandria office.

NVAR will nominate Partlow for the National Association of Realtors' Good Neighbor Awards National Program.
