Homicide detectives are seeking a video that may have captured a deadly shooting in North Highlands. Sacramento County sheriff's deputies responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex in the 5500 block of Harrison Street the evening of Oct. 18. There, deputies found 27-year-old Teon Finney, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. While detectives were working to find out who killed Finney, they learned there may be cellphone video of the shooting, the sheriff's department said. The department is offering a reward to anyone who can provide detectives with the video."It is important to note -- anyone who was not involved in the homicide, who recorded or is otherwise in possession of the video, has NOT violated any laws and can remain completely anonymous," the sheriff's department said in a release. There were several witnesses present at the time of the shooting and who saw what happened afterward, the sheriff’s department earlier said. Authorities ask anyone with information to contact the sheriff's department at 916-874-5115 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-HELP.
