Raheem Sterling scored a brace as Watford completed an unprecedented domestic treble
Gabriel Jesus got in on the act 68 minutes, slotting under the hapless Heurelho Gomes
Manchester City (4-3-3)
Ederson - 8
Made a crucial save one-on-one to deny Roberto Pereyra at 0-0. Was rarely troubled after that as City took control.
Kyle Walker - 7
Was increasingly frustrated by Riyad Mahrez in front of him as he looked to use his pace. Improved as the game wore on.
Vincent Kompany - 8
Appeared to enjoy the tussle with Troy Deeney and if this is to be his final game for the club, fitting he leaves with a trophy.
Kevin De Bruyne celebrates scoring the third goal with his Manchester City team-mates
Kevin De Bruyne rounds Heurelho Gomes to score City's third goal against Watford
Aymeric Laporte - 7
A quiet afternoon should not detract from his growing confidence as a leader in City's back-line. Can step up when Kompany leaves.
Oleksandr Zinchenko - 6
Looked far more comfortable going forward than back. Left too much room in behind early on which Watford should have exploited.
Ilkay Gundogan - 6
Gave the ball away far more often than he usually does. A comfortable, if unspectacular, afternoon.
Gabriel Jesus celebrates after doubling Manchester City's lead against Watford
Jesus met Bernardo Silva's cross to tap past Hornets goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes
David Silva - 8
Set City on their way with the opening goal and continues to bring a calmness to Pep Guardiola's midfield.
Bernardo Silva - 8
A privilege to watch. Was influential for the opening two goals and the pass for Gabriel Jesus was of the highest quality.
Riyad Mahrez - 6
Saw plenty of the ball but just lacked the quality required when it counted. Hooked before the hour.
David Silva celebrates giving City the lead in the FA Cup final; his first goal since December
Raheem Sterling - 8
Capping off a fine season with a performance many have come to expect. Tore Watford to pieces in the second half with a smart brace.
Gabriel Jesus - 8.5
Repaid his manager's faith to start him. A brace and an unselfish assist for the third proved a job well done.
Substitutes
Kevin De Bruyne 7.5 (Mahrez, 55min), Leroy Sane 6 (Gundogan, 73min), John Stones 7 (Silva, 79min)
NOT USED: Muric, Danilo, Aguero, Otamendi
Manager - Pep Guardiola - 9
Completed the treble Sir Alex Ferguson once called 'impossible'. Vindicated for starting Jesus ahead of Sergio Aguero, too.
David Silva volleys into the net from close range on 26 minutes as Watford fans look on
Watford (4-4-2)
Heurelho Gomes - 6
He could do little about most of the goals but will be disappointed to bring curtain down on Watford career by shipping six.
Kiko Femenia - 6
Found life tough against Zinchenko and Sterling and will be frustrated to have deflected in Silva's opener.
Adrian Mariappa - 4
As the game became stretched he lost all sense of shape that was evident for much of the first half. A tough 90 minutes.
Craig Cathcart - 5
Looked composed before City went through the gears. Major gaps were exposed as Watford chased a route back into the game.
Jose Holebas - 6
Did well to nullify Mahrez's threat early on but he struggled thereafter and was guilty of losing Sterling for the fifth goal.
Watford appeal for a penalty after Abdoulaye Doucoure's shot hit Vincent Kompany on the arm
Will Hughes - 5
Always a tough ask against City's midfield and so it proved for Hughes. Game largely passed him by.
Etienne Capoue - 6
Neat and tidy for large spells of the game and did enough to knock Gundogan off his stride. Will have interest from rivals this summer.
Abdoulaye Doucoure - 5
Lost possession in build-up to first goal and struggled to keep a lid on emotions when calls went against him. Booked.
Roberto Pereyra - 6
Was a menace in wide areas for Watford but will be left wondering what might have been had he scored when through on goal early on.

Troy Deeney collects his runners-up medal from The Duke of Cambridge after the game
Gerard Deulofeu - 5.5
The hero of the semi-final found life much tougher this time round. Was given little service to work with and was the first change.
Troy Deeney - 7
Proved a key asset in the air, winning flick-ons and second balls which gave Watford a foothold. Will be disappointed he did not test Ederson more.
Substitutes
Andre Gray 6 (Deulofeu, 66min), Isaac Success 5 (Pereyra, 66min), Tom Cleverley 6 (Hughes, 73min)
NOT USED: Foster, Janmaat, Kabasele, Masina

Was bold to start with two up front and can be proud to get this far. Gap in quality became obvious as game wore on.
