Blake Bortles' rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars has had its share of ups and downs. Unfortunately, the first-year quarterback has been going through the trials and tribulations without longtime girlfriend Lindsey Duke.

According to Alexandra Klausner of The Daily Mail, Bortles and Duke called it quits "a few months ago." The relationship also became a hot topic of conversation for Bortles during his pre-draft interviews.

He said during a February interview on The Dan Patrick Show that some would ask, "if we come to town, will she be there for dinner and stuff like that."

The website Busted Coverage tweeted on November 18 that Duke was "back to partying" after finding out that Bortles had split with her, which prompted this response from Bortles' former Central Florida classmate:

ESPN did a video profile of Bortles in January, during which his UCF head coach George O'Leary was quoted as saying that Duke was deserving of "6 million Googles" in response to reporter Gene Wojciechowski noting that at the time a Google search of her name brought up 6 million results compared to 225,000 for him.

Considering the breakup appears to be old news for Bortles, it's not likely that he will be affected by it the rest of the season. He's played eight games for the Jaguars, compiling a 1-7 record, but has thrown at least one touchdown pass in six games.

While his stats aren't anything to be excited about, including 14 interceptions against eight touchdowns, the 22-year-old is still learning the NFL game and took over arguably the worst situation in the league.
