Scott Caan is embarking on a new chapter in life: fatherhood.
The 37-year-old actor and his girlfriend Kacy Byxbee are expecting their first child due “very soon,” a source told Us Weekly.
“They haven’t been keeping it private really, she’s just been working on her business with her family so she hasn’t been around,” the source added.
“Kacy’s friend posted a photo of her very pregnant belly with the hashtag #babycaan on Instagram,” an insider told Life & Style.
She supposedly had a baby shower last weekend in Los Angeles with her family and friends on hand to celebrate.
It’s uncertain when the couple began dating, but they reportedly met on the set of his TV series “Hawaii Five-O” and this will be their first child.
“She should get the purple heart because I’m a complete disaster,” he said of Byxbee during an interview on “Chelsea Lately” in January 2013 when he indicated they’d been together for “a couple years.”
The actor’s celeb dad, James Caan, is looking forward to being a grandfather.
“His dad James is really close with him,” the insider said. “He is very excited.”
A rep for the actor has yet to respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
