Gary Ablett Snr posts follow-up to bizarre rambling conspiracy theory video

Gary Ablett Snr vidoes

Geelong legend Gary Ablett Snr has doubled down on his allegations that the Illuminati and Freemasons are responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, Ablett uploaded a 27-minute video to Youtube titled What’s really going on and who’s behind it all.

The clip sees the four-time All-Australian claim that “secret society people” are to blame for the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

“The plans all started with the Illuminati way back in 1776, somewhere there, and they've been working on this for a long time to bring about a new world order,” Ablett said in the dashcam video.

“They’re all globalists wanting a new world order so they can put Lucifer on the throne of the world.

“This virus was deliberately made and designed and deliberately released by these people because they’re using it as camouflage for their many globalist agendas.”

Ablett also took aim at Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, who he labelled a “puppet”.

On Friday, Ablett posted a second video, in which he aimed to clarify the comments made in his first upload.

“I understand that there may be some people out there who may be involved in the Illuminati or in the Freemasons who don’t agree with my views and may be very upset with me,” the 248-game all-time great said.

“But I haven’t said anything that I can’t back up with solid evidence. And I don’t say things like that lightly.

“The reason I said it is because I want you to know that God loves you. And I love you too. And I care enough to tell you the truth.”

In his second clip, Ablett also encourages viewers to watch the videos of controversial Christian preacher Barry Smith for further clarification. Prior to his death in 2002, Smith helped to popularise conspiracy theories relating to the September 11 attacks.

Ablett’s videos have attracted the attention of the AFL fan community, with social media punters fearing for the retired footballer’s health.

"That Gary Ablett Senior YouTube video is... something. 2020 never stops,"  7 News  journalist Ryan Daniels wrote on Twitter.

"I think maybe Gary Ablett Sr isn’t particularly well," another wrote.
