We've said it before and we'll say it again: Jameela Jamil does not play when it comes to telling the truth about so-called detox teas. This week alone, Jameela has called out both a tea company and a celeb hawking the potentially dangerous teas, and for good reason.

Jameela recently called out SkinnyMe Tea on Instagram after they apparently used a photo of an eating disorder survivor on their feed without permission. The brand posted a photo of Christina Grasso, an outspoken survivor and anti-eating disorder advocate, on their Instagram, using #detox and #retox under a photo of her in a bubble bath drinking a glass of wine. Christina called out the brand for using her to promote potentially dangerous products, and Jameela and others hopped on board — calling for the post to be taken down.

"As an eating disorder survivor and advocate, I am fundamentally against things such as weight loss teas," Christina told Newsweek. "They are dangerous not only physiologically but also reinforce the outdated idea that thinner is better and at the expense of one’s health. For such a brand to use my image to promote this product was not a great move; that said, I hope it serves as a learning experience. And we can all do better."

Jameela has repeatedly talked about how so-called detox teas are not based in science, and, aside from being physically harmful, reinforce outdated and hurtful beauty standards. That's likely why she was quick to comment on the tea company's Instagram, asking for the photo to be taken down "IMMEDIATELY." She also posted screenshots to her Story, calling on Instagram to remove the post. Not long after, the photo of Christina disappeared from brand's page.

But Jameela, who started the Instagram page I_Weigh to call attention to the fact that people's worth isn't based on their weight, didn't stop after that. Later on, she called out Khloé Kardashian for posting a Flat Tummy Tea ad, blasting the ad as "irresponsible."

"If you're too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product... and b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren't healthy," Jameela wrote. "Then I guess I have to."

Jameela listed side effects like cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea, and dehydration. Many function basically as laxatives, and can lead to longterm health complications. Beyond all that, these teas also just aren't necessary for your body to function because the kind of "detoxing" they advertise isn't even real.

"It's incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance," Jameela continued. "That's the media's fault. But now please don't put that back into the world and hurt other girls, the way you have been hurt."

Jameela previously called out Kim Kardashian for promoting diet teas, along with a slew of other celebs who hawk the products online. In fact, Jameela is ready to call anyone out about it, so much so that she joked about it on her Instagram. She posted a photo of herself sitting and looking pensive with the caption "waiting for someone to sell a weight-loss product to teenagers like...."
