Responding to the Internal Call: A Spiritual Act of Self-Empowerment.

The quest for ultimate truth is an intrinsic characteristic of the human condition.
Woven into the fabric of our ancestral memory is the need for meaning, for something beyond that which we can decode through our purely physical, sensory faculties.
Methods of accessing this truth are as manifold and as beautifully diverse as there are structures of water molecules when magnified, teeming with life and complexity in their own microcosmic universe.
Therefore, dear soul, seek not to tread on the heels of another in your path to self-realization. Likewise, thirst not to lead, except through your example, to illuminate the path for others and, in doing so, to inspire them to follow their own distinct journey to truth.
Have the courage to carve out your own way, in the knowledge that only you can decide what is right for you, only you can feel the pull of your dharma, and only you can hear the internal voice clamoring for attention, urging you to respond to the call of your spirit.
Do not elevate another above yourself for, in this realm of duality that we inhabit, where every action has an equal and opposite reaction, inherent in the act of elevation is the sister act of devaluation.
Elevation of another as more spiritual, more connected to All That Is is, therefore, an overt statement of your spiritual disempowerment: a statement to the Universe that you are not yet ready to follow the call of your heart and, through the Law of Attraction, the Universe, in its benevolent compassion, will lovingly heed your message and divert the course of your route, till you are one day ready to claim your divine identity.
Be inspired. Bow in humility to acknowledge the virtue of others, but raise yourself up when you are done: the act of bowing itself is a dual movement of lowering and then lifting yourself once more. Lean on others for support when necessary, but do not make another the bedrock of your spiritual development.
Instead, tune into the voice of the Divine that reverberates within us all. Connect with it wholeheartedly, secure in the knowledge that, as Rumi says, “You are not a drop in the ocean, but the entire ocean in a drop.”
Therefore, dear soul, be your own cosmic muse, become an active co-creator of your reality, be the administrator of your freedom. Conquer the savage forces of self-judgment and judgment of others confident in the knowledge that yours is an act of spiritual courage.
Become active in your blossoming, in your awakening. Just as a flower’s innate intelligence coaxes it towards the light for its own nourishment and well-being, follow your own innate soul intelligence to receive the ever-flowing joy of the Cosmic Beloved.
Maintain an unwavering conviction in the validity of the wisdom gleaned from your experiments with truth, and watch as you unravel from your protective cocoon and burst forth unshakable in your identity as a a unique expression of God.
