5 Things Happening This Week in Sonoma:

1. The Ramekins Culinary School is holding a Paella Workshop on Thursday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

2. Mutt Lynch Winery will hold  a Dog Days of Summer open house party on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature food music along with the company of man's best friend. Proceeds benefit the humane society.

3. La Luz Center will host "Noche Out of Africa," a Safari-themed party on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Jack London State Historical part. The event will benefit,  La Luz Center, a Sonoma-based group that provides services including education and medical care to those in need and contributes to the community's cultural enrichment.

4. Volunteers from Sonoma County Master Gardeners will have information tables set up at the Sonoma Garden Park Harvest Market starting every Saturday starting this week through October.

5. Excerpts from Appalachian Cinderella will be performed at the Sonoma Conservatory of Dance on Sunday at 4 p.m. A full length production will be performed at the Sebastiani Theatre in April.
