Game modes center on 4v4 and are designed to be faster than most other MOBAs. Three modes will be available at launch, include Deathmatch, a Capture-the-Flag-esque creation called Plunderball and Conquest, which is essentially King-of-the-Hill.
Interestingly, you won't be able to level any of the 10 initial Champions in-match, instead customising them outside of battle to suit your playstyle. Two mentioned by name are the living statue Rook and the bruiser Brutus. There'll be a free weekly Champion rotation, while all Champions and stat-altering items will be unlockable through play. Check it out in action below:The initial line-up for the game, then, includes three multiplayer modes, six arenas, and 10 Champions. More of everything will be added over time.
The game is set to launch "soon" and anyone wishing to know more about the MOBA scene should check out IGN Arena. Luke Karmali is IGN UK News Editor. You too can revel in mediocrity by following him on Twitter.
