UPDATE: Forward progress of fire in Cochise County stopped by crews

COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management is reporting that forward progress of the fire has been stopped by crews in Cochise County, between Benson and Willcox.

According to Tiffany Davila, Public Affairs Officer with the ADFFM, a semi truck crash was the cause of this new fire.

The Texas fire has only burned 15 to 20 acres so far, but has closed an eastbound lane of Interstate 10 and forced the evacuation of a rest stop near milepost 320.
