DENVER — Service has been restored after several internet users experienced outages across the country on Monday, according to multiple reports.
Comcast’s internet service, Xfinity, appeared to be hardest hit by the issue.
A map on DownDectector.com shows the outage hitting major cities such as San Francisco, Boston and Seattle. Home internet was also down in parts of Colorado.
Around 1:30 p.m., Comcast said on its costumer cares account the service was restored to those affected.
Internet issues should now be resolved for almost all customers. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for your patience.

It is unknown when the outage started, but some people report their internet was down for hours before being restored in the afternoon.
The problem did not appear to be affecting home television or phone service.
BRG reports Spectrum, AT&T and Verizon costumers also reported outages but at much slower rates.
