Rascal Flatts Gift Makes Hoda Kotb Cry on ‘Today’

On Today, new mother Hoda Kotb got a surprise from country music stars Rascal Flatts. Singer Gary LeVox cradled a tiny guitar during the interview and when asked about it, presented it to Kotb as a gift. He showed off the tiny six-string with Kotb’s daughter’s name, Haley Joy, inscribed on the front. The members of Rascal Flatts all signed the back of the instrument.

Hoda Kotb was so moved that she began to tear up. Kathie Lee Gifford remarked, “You know the way to her heart: music and her daughter.”

Kotb emotionally thanked the musicians as she received the gift.
