It’s not even the first of the month and Layzie Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rushed to help a person in need.

The rapper, whose real name is Steven Howse, jumped to the aid of a Wyoming man on Saturday after seeing him lose control of his car while traveling from Casper to Riverton.

“He started swerving,” the “1st of Tha Month” rapper told Wyoming’s K2TV Sunday. “We like, ‘Oh, my god, this guy’s gonna kill himself.’ He hit the dirt and came back, and when the concrete met his tires, he started spinning instantly.”

When the car came to a stop, Layzie approached the man, who was suffering from low blood sugar due to diabetes and was barely conscious.

“He didn’t know who anybody was, so I said, ‘Do you know Bone Thugs-n-Harmony?’ And he kinda woke up,” the 40-year-old rapper said. “He was like, ‘Yeah.'”

Layzie then offered fruit and chocolate to the 24-year-old diabetic.

“I’m not doing this interview to be no type of hero, like they put it,” he told the TV station. “I’m not that person. I genuinely care about people.”

He later posted a photo on the scene to his Facebook page.

“Dear Lord, thank you for your mercy, grace and forgiveness for 2nd chances,” he captioned the pic.

“We thought he was a drunk doing 60mph when he spun out of control and did a complete 180 degrees,” he added. “Thank God he didn’t flip he was 30ft in front of us.”
