Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne is the undisputed star of "The Danish Girl."

But it was Amber Heard who had style watchers in a twist with her very cool 'do at the LA premiere of the film.

As it happens, all the credit goes to one of our favorites: Adir Abergel, who works with top names like Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Garner. He let Heard's sleek Dolce & Gabbana suit dictate her hair.

"I created an off-center high ponytail that became a the new version of a top-knot. I like calling this style the 'side knot.' I accessorized this style with a modern and chic gold clip designed by me," says Abergel.

So you won't have Abergel show up at your house, but you can try for a similar style. Here's how, straight from the pro.

  • On air-dryed hair, I sprayed some Bumble and Bumble thickening spray all over the roots to create lift.

  • I blow-dried the hair completely and then took a 1/2" curling iron and randomly took sections and curled them for some texture.

  • After curling, i applied some Oribe texture spray all over the roots through the mid shaft.

  • I now was ready to create my "undo". I pulled the hair into a high off-center ponytail, but not too off-center. Make sure to leave some lift around the hairline and don't pull hair too tight. Secure your ponytail with an elastic band and wrap the elastic with some hair to hide the elastic.

  • Now back-comb the ponytail and spray with some Oribe Superfine.

  • Twist the ponytail, and direct it to the side of your head and secure it just above the ear with a few bobby pins. Leave your ends out and let them fall by your nape.

  • Take a very modern clip and secure it on the side of the ponytail at eye level.

  • To finish the look i softened the hairline by creating a few flyaways by loosening some of the hair and sprayed the whole look with Oribe Superfine for all night memory.
